Loved that it takes place in my home town, so every place is an actual location in beautiful Austin. Dr Samantha & her irrepressible friends chase a murderer thru the tech start-up community with a climax you didn't see coming.
I received an advanced copy of this book provided I give an honest review. This was an intriguing book that I really enjoyed reading. Dr. Samantha Jenkins decides to work for a start up company in Austin, Texas that is testing drugs already on the market for uses on disorders for which they were not originally intended. She thinks she will be helping people. Then two people working at the start up are found dead under mysterious circumstances. Even though the police and her colleagues feel the deaths are unrelated Samantha is not sure and decides to investigate. This is a great medical thriller that will keep you guessing.
I love a good mystery, especially one that keeps me guessing!Dr. Jenkins has her share of hiccups in her life, but she seems to have a penchant for getting herself into situations that lead to murder and mayhem. This is the second book I have read about her and I look forward to what comes next.
I read this book in a few days because it is a exciting medical Thriller! I couldn't put it down! The ending totally surprised me. I look forward to reading more books by this author!
